Last August, I actually found all 3 DVD sets in HuaLiang by the end of my bike trip. 15 years removed, it was 四郎探母 that almost brought me to tears when I watched it on a flickering tv the night before I flew back to US. I just want to let you know that you touched some collective memory beautifully and I actually want to call my mom. Thanks for sharing your thoughts...
